This class is an introduction to the basics of bookkeeping for the small business owner or those of you who want to become familiarized with some simple bookkeeping systems. Overcome the common fear of facing your finances and record keeping. Unless you are trained to understand & handle your own business & personal records, you will continue to suffer the uncertainty of what you or your business can afford to spend, what to ask of your accountants and bookkeepers, & what you are actually earning. This course on taking charge of your own bookkeeping, will not only deal with specific bookkeeping systems, which are simple & easy to use, but will also cover journals, ledgers, and business statements. Students will leave this class knowing how to set up their own books, receipts & disbursements. Bob Wagner, MBA, is founder of the Discovery Center with over 40 years experience in the business field.
