1106 STAINED GLASS WORKSHOP I

Create your own beautiful stained glass art in this class that has been taught at Discovery Center since its founding in 1978. Learn how to cut & break glass as you build your project from start to finish using the copper foil method. Make your project unique by choosing from multiple patterns and color options. The session will deal with type & quality of glass, appropriate tools and safety equipment, cutting techniques, foiling, soldering and assembling. You will leave the class with a completed project ready to be displayed!

Instructor:   CJ has had a passion for glass art since 2019 when he decided to explore and experiment with glass independently. Since then he has worked and taught at several glass studios in the area. He aspires to create unconventional works of art while introducing others to this timeless medium.
